Jan. 2018….NEW MUSIC!

New music is a-coming!!…It’s my first 2018 songwriting session today with the lovely Louise Maggs. I’ve got lots of new demos to work on with her 🙂 If you haven’t heard the album yet (on which we co wrote 7 of the 10 songs) I’ve made quite a lot of the tracks streamable so head on over to to check it out!! 🙂 PLUS it is on Spotify and Itunes Apple music too!

I’d recommend my personal picks of LINGERS which was picked up by BBC INTRODUCING and COAL INTO GOLD for it’s unique vibe and lyrics. Moray Stuart described it as having a Bonnie & Delaney groove…which i believe to be a thoroughly good thing <3 HAPPY SATURDAY PEOPLE! xxx

London you rock…WORKSHOP @ THE PREMISES STUDIOS…Nov. 2017

It was truly 4 of the best days of my life…I learnt so much in the warm embrace of such a supportive group and all overseen by the yumsome and uber talented Gwyneth Herbert. Her genorosity of spirit was truly humbling…I have recorded TWO new songs!!! All accompanied by double bass, piano and drums…and Gwyn conducting our passions and performance! One is a cover of a song Texas by the amazing Natalie Merchant…i remember seeing her perform it acoustic style on the Jools Holland Show a few years back and I my jaw dropped…a magical and mesmerising song that lyrically seemed to reflect both my ambition at the time to achieve my dreams and mourning the loss of my dad to Alzheimers and reflecting on all he had wanted for me in life…the 2nd is a new song called LEAVE A LITTLE LIGHT ON…the bassist said it had a van Morrisson vibe about it in the studio…WOW!! Now that would be good ;-0 I don’t want to reveal too much but I am uber excited to share it with you…the only way to get to hear it first is to sign up to my newsletter via the SIGN UP link on the homepage, so head on over and sign up now!! It even features a reference to my darling dog Pippy…there was me thinking I wouldn’t succumb to OTT soppiness!! Ha ha some hope! Anyway gotta fly and write a set list for our December gig….but here’s some pics I wanted to share with you from the workshop…such a great bunch of people and VERY talented too…#happydays…xxxx
